It is meant to be ambiguous and whether it’s early or late in your day and wherever you are in the world, we hope to provide you with the appropriate space for reflection as you contemplate our daily offering.

How is My Daily Encouragement different from positive thinking and visualization: practices that, frankly, often seem not to work?
Actually, positive thinking, and visualization DO work – it’s just that, often, the approach to them is quite incompatible and therefore the results are flawed. For example, exercise is universally seen as a wise way to stay healthy, but if people don’t exercise appropriately, even the best of intentions or best work ethic aren’t going to lead to desired results. In fact, staying with the exercise example, if you don’t have the right tools, you may actually harm yourself by exercising (and many people do!). The point of all of this, is that you will find elements of what can be called positive thinking or visualization here at My Daily Encouragement — because these are all pointers to the same place: the vastness of your true being.
What do you say to people who feel it is too late to change?
We say this: time doesn’t exist; change ONLY exists. In other words, people who say that it’s “too late to change” aren’t actually making much sense The universe has no grasp of “late” or “soon” or “past” or “future”. The universe only knows one thing: change. You ARE changing, whether you realize it or not, want to or not, choose to or not. So you might as well change for the better, right?
Do you think there is a growing awareness of the power of thought or being?
Yes and no. There is an intensification of awareness and “being-ness”, and we’re seeing that grow each day. In fact, the My Daily Encouragement website is a perfect example of just how fast things are growing in this direction. A website like this, only a handful of years ago, would simply not be sustainable. There just weren’t enough people “out there” who had the capacity to benefit from it.
Yet at the same time, things are also getting more dramatic and, indeed negative. This is natural. There is a plus movement and a minus movement. As some people evolve into the “new idea” of humanity — one governed by intuition, compassion, freedom and love — others are entering a phase of powerful negativity — one ruled by fear, hatred and violence.
That’s why My Daily Encouragement is so important. It helps people on the “plus” side stay connected, in energetic terms, with other people who are on the same momentum. It’s protective and energizing.
What do you say to those of us who’ve tried it all and feel that nothing works?
We say: stop trying, and start BEING. The problem of trying to find answers is that in the very act of trying, or seeking, there is some element of unacceptance of the present moment. It may be very subtle and it may be very hard to detect, but by nature, it’s there. My Daily Encouragement isn’t about getting you to try to do anything; it isn’t about tomorrow, or 5 minutes from now. It’s about seeing yourself as you are, in this moment: perfect, powerful, peaceful, and complete. Our messages are designed not to take you somewhere new, but to help you see yourself as you always have been…and always will be. Totally, uniquely, you.

For the record we are not a non profit organisation. Although we think our cause of promoting daily encouragement is noble and genuine we are a commercial site.
It’s getting increasingly difficult for new websites to obtain the URL name they would like. This is due to there being so many legitimate existing websites and issues such as domain name parking. This fact has long ago been recognised by accredited internet registrars worldwide. Although .org was originally (in 1985) recommended for non-commercial entities, there are no restrictions to registration. There are many instances of .org being used by commercial sites today. In fact in 2008, The Public Interest Registry noted that domain names registered as .org tallied over 7 million sites, which makes it the third largest generic domain name.

Why does My Daily Encouragement have an inquiry form instead of an email address?
Because of the problem with spam on the internet. The inquiry form makes it more difficult for spammers to collect the email addresses from the website. Once you send an inquiry into My Daily Encouragement you will receive an email which has all the contact details allowing you to email My Daily Encouragement directly.
