Why is it that when people reach a certain age we think they’re approaching death soon? We should instead celebrate the fact that they’re still alive and kicking. It’s not so much dealing with death, it’s learning from people who have come this far.

There is death that is expected, and there’s death that is sudden. When death is sudden, it robs us of the chance to tell the deceased how sorry we are. We can only pray for the departed ones, hoping that they hear us.
